After plenty of teasers, Xiaomi has finally launched its Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series televisions in India. The Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition launched in two screen sizes — 32 inch and 43 inch. The 32-inch variant is priced at Rs 13,499, while the 42-inch model costs Rs 22,999.
The 32-inch variant of the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition will go on sale starting September 11 and will be available on both Flipkart and Mi.com official website. The 43-inch variant, on the other hand, will be go on sale on Amazon India on 15 September at 6 PM. Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series will be soon be hitting Mi Stores, Mi Studio and offline partner stores.
The new Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 32-inch model has a 32-inch bezel-less display with 1368 x 768 pixels resolution while the 43-inch model offers 43-inch Full HD bezel-less display with 1920 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Both the TVs offer 95% screen to body ratio and 178-degree viewing angle. These TVs provide Vivid Picture Engine technology to offer accurate screen calibration, deeper contrasts & pinpoint precision in colour reproduction.
Running on the Android TV 9 OS, Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series TVs ship with PatchWall UI that comes with integration of 23+ Content Partners including Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar etc and provides content from 16+ languages. The TVs support Google Assistant and it comes with built-in Chromecast support with Google Data Saver tech as well. The company also added Mi Quick Wake feature which allows user to quickly and easily resume shows within 5 seconds. The One-Click Play feature on the TVs also let users to watch live cricket matches in just one click.
Under the hood, the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition series packs Cortex-A53 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. In terms of audio, they are loaded with 20W speakers that support DTS technology.
Connectivity parts are managed by three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n.
