Mi MIX 3 Could Come with Support For 5G Connectivity

The race for 5G is warming up, as any semblance of Samsung, Huawei, and others race to be first to introduce the new 5G technology. However, it seems that Xiaomi is also in the race as well, based on another mystery picture the company posted.

Xiaomi spokesperson Donovan Sung posted a picture on Twitter which shows a phone with extremely thin bezels. Nonetheless, if you look near the signal strength indicator, you should spot the “5G” icon.

The picture shared by the Xiaomi official looks same as the Mi MIX 3 yet since he himself has not cleared anything with respect to which model he has posted, we can’t state anything immediately.

It is essential to state expressly that these are for the most part simple theories and nobody can yet guarantee anything about which model will be Xiaomi’s first with 5G availability. Until further notice, it is smarter to sit tight for the official launch so we become more acquainted with in more insight about the Chinese producer’s designs.

Mi MIX 3: Expected Specifications, Features

Although there is no official information available right now on the specifications of Mi MIX 3, the device is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset. The base model of the Mix 3 could feature 6GB of RAM, while the top-variant seems to launch with 8GB RAM. The variant with 8GB RAM could feature 256GB of internal storage while the 6GB RAM version could be capped to 64GB of UFS 2.1 memory.

Furthermore, the Mi MIX 3 is expected to be running Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 skin. It is also possible that the Mi Mix 3 could be one of the first devices from the Xiaomi to be updated to the latest Android Pie 9.0. Just like the predecessor Mi MIX 2S, the upcoming Mi Mix 3 also expected to feature similar camera setup with a 12 + 12MP dual-camera on the rear.
