Mi Mi 8 SE vs Nokia 7 Plus vs Nokia 6 (2018) or Nokia 6.1: who is winner?

Xiaomi has announced its new flagship phone, the Mi 8 SE just a couple of days before. a smaller Mi 8 variant – for those who prefer a small screen and a cheaper price tag. The smartphone is the first to be powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 710 SoC, comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back,It is first phone with a notch that is unveiled by the company. Xiaomi’s numbered Mi flagships tend to be extremely good phones for the price, if not especially cutting edge. Now in this article, we are comparing the Mi 8 with two premium phones namely Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 (2018). Let us take a look of what the three phones after all keep.

Pricing

The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is priced at  Rs. 18,900 which is the first smartphone to integrate the recently announced chip with a cheaper price tag. And  Nokia 7 Plus which is priced at Rs 25,999 being positioned as flagship for everyone. The Nokia 6.1 is the cheaper versions of the entire comparison, with its highest variant price in India being Rs.18,999.

Design &  Display

The Mi 8 SE looks similar to the Xiaomi Mi 8 with a notch display and a slight chin at the bottom. It sports a 5.88-inch AMOLED full-screen HD+ display with 2.5D glass protection. The other two doesn’t bear notch. The Nokia 7 plus sports 6-inch IPS Full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Nokia 6.1 has a 1920 x 1080 display with a 5.5-inch LCD.

Performance & Hardware

The Mi 8 Se is most powerful than later one as it is powered by the 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor. This is the first smartphone to integrate the recently announced chip. The Nokia 7 Plus comes in at second place thanks to the Snapdragon 660, while the Nokia 6.1 feature a Snapdragon 630.

Mi 8 SE is coupled with Adreno 616 graphics and 4GB or 6GB RAM options. Inbuilt storage is at 64GB, not expandable via microSD card. The Nokia 7 Plus gets 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage while also getting dual-SIM features and expandable storage (this will use the second SIM card slot). The Nokia 6.1 gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage and 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage.

All three smartphones come with premium bodies, while Mi 8 SE having more glossy look than the remaining three devices. For connectivity, both wireless and wired, surprisingly all three handsets get the same features. This will range from 4G with VoLTE support, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. All three smartphones also get dual-SIM options.

Optics

The Mi 8 SE and the Nokia 7 Plus are the only two smartphones can be taken into comparison that come with a dual-camera combo, while the remaining Nokia 6.1 come with single camera lenses at the front and back.

Mi 8 SE include a AI dual camera with one 12-megapixel sensor and another 5-megapixel sensor as well. At the front, there is a 20-megapixel shooter with AI background bokeh, smart beauty features built-in front soft light, automatic HDR, 4K video capture, and slow motion.

The Nokia 7 Plus gets a dual camera setup at the rear consisting of a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 13-megapixel telephoto camera. The front camera is a 16-megapixel unit with ZEISS optics.

The rear cameras on the Nokia 6.1 or Nokia 6 (2018) is a single 16MP shooter and come with things like PDAF, ZEISS optics, and a dual-tone flash. The phone is also capable of 4K video recording at 30fps, while the 8MP fixed-focus camera with a f/2.0 aperture is also present.

Battery & OS

The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE packs a 3120mAh battery that claims to offer 269 hours of standby, 108 hours of local music playback, 13 hours of video playback, and 7 hours of continuous gaming. The battery comes with support for fast charging as well. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE runs on MIUI 10 on top of Android Oreo 8.1.

The Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7 Plus is part of the Android One family, running a less bloated version of Android and comes extremely close to stock Android. They will be upgraded to Android P in the future as well.

Verdict

From the comparision you might come to know who is the winner the best thing is everyone desires is performance the Mi 8 which also cost effective with many fancy features  iPhone X like 3D face recognition, in-display fingerprint scanner. Undoubtedly this will be the good choice to buy.

The second-most powerful smartphone is the Nokia 7 Plus but you should have a big budget, followed by the Nokia 6.1.If you fanlovers of Nokia ,Nokia 7 plus is the one to get.
