Xiaomi’s much-awaited Mi band 3 has arrived in the Indian market with a larger display and some special features such as water resistant up to 50 meters and up to 20 days of battery life. The company had already launched it in China back in May of this year. Compared to the Mi band 2, the new Mi Band 3 has 85% larger screen and it comes in Orange, Black, and Blue color options.
Mi Band 3 Specifications
Talking about the specifications of the Mi band 3, it has 0.78-inch (1.9cm) OLED touchscreen. Mi Band 3 measures 1.79 x 4.69 x 1.2cm and weighs around 8.5 grams. Mi Band 3 straps are made with a thermoplastic elastomer. The device is powered by 110mAh battery. For water resistance, it comes with 5ATM certification. For connectivity, it relies on Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy. As we mentioned earlier, it gives with a battery life of up to 20 days and is certified for water resistance up to 50 meters.
Now, with the Mi Band 3 you can view and reject calls from the screen and it also shows content from messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS etc. Along with these, it can also count steps, measure heart rate, count calories, count distance. Some other features of the Mi Band 3 include stopwatch, alarm, and find the phone.
It is worth to mention that the new Mi Band 3 is compatible with Android devices running on version 4.4 and higher or iOS 9.0 and above.

As far as the price is concerned, the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 comes with a price tag of Rs. 1,999 in India. It will be available on Amazon India and Mi.com from September 28 starting 12 noon IST.
