Mi 10 Ultra announced with 120W fast charging, 120x ultra-zoom camera: Price, specifications, features

As a part of Xiaomi’s 10th anniversary event, the brand has launched the new flagship Mi 10 Ultra in home-country China. The phone comes in four variants: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. All these variants are priced at CNY 5,299 (approx. Rs. 57,000), CNY 5,599 (approx. Rs. 60,100), CNY 5,999 (approx. Rs. 64,400) and CNY 6,999 (approx. Rs. 75,200) respectively.

User can choose from Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver, and in a Transparent Edition color options. The phone will go on sale in China from August 16. Sadly, the company hasn’t revealed any information regarding the international launch of the smartphone.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra specifications

Mi 10 Ultra flaunts a 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is fuelled by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor that is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR 5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The company also stated that the new Mi 10 Ultra comes with a VC liquid cooling, multi-layer graphite, thermal sensor array, and Graphene for effective temperature management of the phone. This will also allow the phone to not get too hot while playing intensive games.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Mi 10 Ultra has a four cameras on the rear that includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 12-megapixel portrait camera, and a telephoto shooter (Sony IMX586 image sensor) with support for 120x ultra-zoom. Furthermore, there is laser auto-focus and flicker sensor. The camera setup also has optical image stabilisation (OIS). The phone will be able to record 8K videos from the primary and telephoto shooters. For selfies and video calling, the device houses a 20-megapixel shooter.

Connectivity parts are managed by Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, and other features include in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and USB Type-C port. Backed by a 4,500mAh battery, the phone supports 120W wired fast charging that will take just 23 minutes to fully charge the battery. Also, the phone supports 50W wireless fast charging, enabling full charge in just 40 minutes. Additionally, it will also support reverse wireless charging at up to 10W. At last, the phont boots Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box.
