Meizu is not so popular smartphone maker in China as Xiaomi, Huawei or Oppo. However, it has many loyal fans around the world. Meizu had entered in the Indian market in 2015 with Meizu M1 Note smartphone. Later, they launched few other smartphones in India and none of them were so popular. Earlier this year, Meizu was rumored to unveil the new flagship Meizu 16 in India, but company hasn’t launched a smartphone.
Now, the Meizu is again in news. The company is all set to make comeback to Indian smartphone market with the new flagship phone Meizu 16th, which will take on the likes of the OnePlus 6T in the premium segment of the market. The company has started teasing the arrival of the Meizu 16th through its Indian Twitter handle.

In August, company launched the Meizu 16th in China. The Meizu 16th sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with an resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the powerful Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. There is no SD card slot for the further expansion of storage. In terms of optics, the Meizu 16th holds a 12-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear and a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The device is backed by 3,010mAh battery.
The handset is available in the market in multiple variants such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. These variants are priced at 2,698 Yuan (~$388), 2,998 Yuan (~$432) and 3,298 Yuan (~$475) respectively. The company is likely to announce this phone with a starting price of Rs. 26,999 in India. Even though there is no confirmation on the launch date, rumours hints that the company may launch the device in the first week of December.
