Chinese smartphone brand Meizu is expected to launch their latest flagship phone Meizu 16s and Meizu 16s Plus soon and now, some live images of the upcoming Meizu 16s Plus smartphone have surfaced online. To recall, Meizu’s CEO recently teased that the upcoming phones will not have notches or punch holes, which he calls “quad bezel-less display”.

The phone we’re expecting is the Meizu 16s Plus which is going to be the successor to last year’s Meizu 16 Plus. The leaked photos show Meizu upcoming all-screen smartphone with no notch, no punch-hole camera, and no sliding selfie camera. There’s a noticeable amount of chin at the bottom, but it’s not as prominent as the chin on Meizu 16 Plus.

There is a slit for the speaker where the top bezel touches the phone’s frame and to its right is the selfie camera. Regrettably, there are no photos of the back of the Meizu 16 Plus.

Coming to the specs of the Meizu 16 Plus, it is supposed to be powered by latest Snapdragon 855 chipset and a 48MP Sony IMX586 camera with OIS. The Meizu 16s Plus is said to feature a 6.76-inch AMOLED display whereas the Meizu 16s will have a 6.2-inch display. The displays will be covered with Gorilla Glass 6 on the top. The device will sport an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device will be backed by the very thin 3,600mAh battery. However, the device still lacks wireless charging facility.

Meizu’s CEO hinted that the Meizu 16s and Meizu 16s Plus will launch in April or May of this month. It is likely to cost more than CNY 3,300 (approx. Rs.35,000). Nevertheless, all of these are rumors, which is why you should hold on until Meizu makes it official.
