LG is set to launch the LG Velvet on May 7. But if information circulating the internet is to be believed, then the specifications of the LG Velvet have leaked online thanks to a tipster on Twitter who goes by username Sleepy Kuma.
As per the report, the LG Velvet will feature a triple rear camera setup that will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor with support for optical image stabilization (OIS) paired with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, there will be a 16-megapixel camera sensor for selfies.
Information circulating the internet suggests that the device will come with 8 GB and 128 GB storage that is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card slot. It is tipped to come with in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers, coupled with artificial intelligence (AI) powered sound.
It could come powered by the Snapdragon 675 SoC. The LG Velvet may pack a 4300 mAh battery with wireless charging support — alongside fast wired charging. Reports indicate that the phone will launch in Aurora Green, Aurora Gray, Aurora White, and Illusion Sunset color options. The handset would measure 167.1x74x7.85mm and weigh 180 grams.
Even if the leaked specifications are true, we will have to wait for the May 7 launch event to know the exact specifications of the LG Velvet.
