LG has already confirmed the launch of a new smartphone called LG Velvet. Now ahead of the official launch, a new teaser video revealing the rear design for the upcoming smartphone has been leaked online. The teaser video also reveals some of the key things about LG Velvet.
The 35-seconds teaser video shows the LG Velvet in Black, Green, White, and what seems to be a Peach color. The video also shows a water droplet or raindrop turning into the primary camera indicating the “’Raindrop’ camera”. Interestingly, the primary camera is slightly raised from the body of the smartphone while the other two sensors are flush with the back. The secondary and tertiary cameras and the flash, are placed below the primary camera that is aligned vertically.
As per the video teaser posted by the company, the phone will feature a curved reflective back panel with the LG branding on the bottom of the phone. The screen is curved as well giving symmetrical look to the smartphone. There is also a volume rocker on the left edge with another button likely to be a button for activating Google Assistant.
Also, a button is located on the right edge and it seems to be a power button. The 3.5mm headphone jack, the USB Type-C port, and the speaker grill are on the bottom of the phone. On the top, it has a SIM card tray with a microphone and a couple of antennae lines. Upfront, there is a waterdrop notch that houses a single selfie camera.
At last, the teaser video also showcases the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G branding on the bottom that indicates that the device will be fuelled by the same chipset. It will support 5G.
