LG V50 ThinQ Render Leaked, Reveals 5G Support, Triple Rear Cameras and Notched Display

| By DWR Editor

A major chunk of LG smartphones to be launched this year have already been leaked in the past few months. We have a good idea of what the much-awaited LG G8 ThinQ may look like. Now, Evan Blass has let out a render of another upcoming phone named LG V50 ThinQ smartphone that reveals the design from both the front and back. Much like predecessor LG V40 ThinQ, the upcoming LG V50 ThinQ also comes with a similar design.

According to the image, the rear panel of this upcoming smartphone reveals a triple camera setup. This camera setup is placed horizontally in the center. The smartphone will come with a LED flash right side the camera sensors.

The device has its power button on the right edge, with the volume rocker and Google Assistant button on the left edge. On the rear side, there is a yellow colored 5G logo which confirms that the V50 ThinQ will support 5G. Also, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and V50 ThinQ branding, and the LG logo.

Up front, LG V50 ThinQ sport a waterdrop notch on the display, minimal bezels, and a front camera setup. You can see 5G icon in the Status Bar right next to the battery icon which again confirms the 5G support.

The rest is only speculation, including an expected 6-inch display, Snapdragon 855 chipset, a battery 4000 mAh, vapor chamber liquid cooling system and wireless charging support. The company already confirmed that this would be a massive 20% jump from V40’s 3300 mAh battery. There is no official word on when the LG V50 ThinQ will be announced, but the phone’s lock screen in the image has the date February 24 which hints at the phone launching on February 24 with the LG G8 ThinQ. We should hear more about that in the days to come.
