The South Korean company, LG which had launched LG G7 ThinQ earlier this month. LG has now announced its latest flagship smartphone, the LG V35 ThinQ and LG V35+ ThinQ. The only difference in the two variants is the inbuilt storage – 64GB and 128GB, respectively. The smartphone is a much alike as the LG V30+ that was launched late last year for Rs 44,990 but has upgraded internals that makes the range more current for the time. The significant difference between these two is deficient in notch cutout.
The LG V35 ThinQ retains the same 6-inch FullVision OLED display with HDR10 support. However, there are some improvements in the camera, and it has borrowed the dual 16-megapixel rear camera setup and the Super Bright Camera mode from the LG G7 ThinQ.
It retains the AI CAM that now offers 19 shooting modes, up from eight, Portrait Mode for both the front and rear cameras, and Stickers for 2D or 3D overlay effects using face recognition. It also has new Super Bright Camera with images that are up to four times brighter typical of photos shot in dim light through the combination of pixel binning and software processing, the AI algorithm adjusts the camera settings automatically when shooting in low light.
Furthermore, the LG V35 is MIL-STD 810G compliant and has IP68 water resistance, similar to the company’s other flagships. The handset also features the company’s signature 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC and other sound enhancements, including DTS:X (with 3D virtualisation up to 7.1 audio).
LG V35 ThinQ availability and price
As per now, there is no word on when the phone will launch in India or its pricing, with these details to be announced closer to actual availability. The LG V35 ThinQ will be rolling out in the US starting in June followed by Asia, Middle East, and Africa. The smartphone will come in Aurora Black, Platinum Grey colour models. Interestingly, it will be available in Google’s own carrier experiment in the US, called Project Fi.

The LG V35 ThinQ features dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel wide angle lens with f/1.9 aperture and a 16-megapixel standard angle lens with f/1.6 aperture. At the front of the smartphone, is an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/1.9 aperture.

When it comes to storage, the LG V35 ThinQ is equipped with 64GB of inbuilt storage (the V35+ ThinQ has 128GB of inbuilt storage), expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). It is fuelled with 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, Wireless charging.
