South Korean brand LG has launched a new smartphone called the LG Q70 in its home country. The new LG Q70 is the successor to the LG Q60 that was launched earlier this year and this is the first phone from LG to feature hole-in-display. Moreover, the handset has a Military-Grade Protection and a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side.
LG Q70 Specifications
The LG Q70 is launched with a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2310 pixels resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is backed by a 4000mAh battery and comes with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support. It packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core chipset along with an Adreno 612 GPU under the hood.
In the camera department, the LG Q70 has a primary camera of 32-megapixel with f/1.8 aperture while the secondary camera is a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens (120 degrees). There is also a a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, there is a 16-megapixel punch-hole camera for selfies.
The device has been launched in a single variant that has a 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is a SD card slot for further expansion of the storage via SD card up to 2TB. It runs Android 9 Pie operating system.
The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and there is also a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side. Other features of this phone include Hi-Fi Quad DAC, and DTS: X 3D 3D Cinema Sound support. Another talking point is the MIL-STD-810G rating that helps the device withstand impact, vibration, high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, and humidity.
At last, the phone has connectivity options such as dual-SIM card slots, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
LG Q70 Price and Availability Details
The LG Q70 is priced at KRW 548,900 (approx. Rs. 32,600) in South Korean. The smartphone is launched in only in Mirror black color. It will go on sale from September 6 in South Korea.
