South Korean company LG has unveiled its Tone Free DFP8W true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds that feature active noise cancellation (ANC) and 24-hour battery life. It is claimed that the UVnano charging case removes 99.9% of E. coli and S aureus bacteria on the speaker membranes in five minutes from the earbuds. 
The LG Tone Free DFP8W are tuned by Meridian, which is a British audio system maker. The technology is a proprietary Flex Action Bass that provides enhanced sound quality.

On the LG Germany website, the earbuds are listed in Charcoal Black, Haze Gold, and Pearl White colors. The LG Tone Free DFP8W is priced at EUR 179 (roughly Rs. 15,900). Details about their availability have yet to be announced.

The LG Tone Free DFP8W boasts 8mm drivers that deliver a high-fidelity experience. Two of the microphones in the earbuds are used to enable voice calling, while the third is used to enable ANC. Additionally, LG has provided options for switching between ambient and chat sound modes. It comes with three medical-grade ear tips to ensure that a wide variety of people can wear them comfortably. Further, the device is water and sweat-resistant with an IPX4 rating.
LG Tone Free DFP8W earbuds have Bluetooth v5.2 support and up to five devices can be paired simultaneously. Besides Google Fast Pairing, the Windows Swift Pair protocol is also supported.
Using the LG Tone Free app on their phones, gamers can adjust and activate a game mode on LG Tone Free DFP8W. It is claimed that the dedicated mode offers spatial, immersive sound.
The earbuds include a charging case that supports wireless charging in addition to wired charging via USB Type-C. The charging case also offers a fast charging option that can power earbuds for one hour after five minutes of charging. Additionally, it allegedly kills bacteria and germs on the earphones using ultraviolet (UV) light.
Additionally, the earbuds support Siri and Google Assistant voice commands. Without ANC, you can use the earbuds for up to 10 hours (or six hours with ANC). Without ANC, the earbuds will provide up to 14 additional hours of battery backup when bundled with the chase.
LG Tone Free DFP8W earbuds measure 21.2×28.3×23.2mm and weigh 5.6 grams whereas the charging case measures 54.5×54.5×30.0mm and weighs 39 grams.
