LG’s upcoming smartphone called LG Q9 has been rounding up with numerous leaks over some weeks, And It is known that company to launch the mid-range smartphone at CES 2019. Now the device has been spotted on Geekbench benchmark revealed its key specs.T he first and foremost thing the device armed bya dated Snapdragon 821 chipset under the hood. which doesn’t seems same as previous reports which claimed that device could be powered by a 14nm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC.
According to the Geekbench listings, The phone with model number “LGE LM-Q925L” which is named as LG Q9 reveal that the device houses a dated Snapdragon 821 chipset. As per previous renders, the device could feature a similar design and internals to the LG G7 Fit, and could also be the rebranded version of the same device which was launched back in August 2017.
As far listings specs concerned, The company could unveil the upgraded version of the LG G7 Fit with identical 6.1-inch LCD display, resolution of 1440×3120 pixels, The device could come by 4GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage. The device may be stuffed by same 3,000mAh battery or a bigger 3,550mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The new handset is managed to score 1,789 points in the single-core test and 3,680 points in the multi-core test. The benchmark results clearly suggest that the LG Q9 will not be a performance-oriented smartphone. It might likely shift from latest Android OS to Android 8.1 Oreo. For the camera, The device also likely features a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It is expected to support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C port, and 4G VoLTE.
The phone is expected to have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP68 certification for dust and water resistance as well as MIL-STD-810G compliance.
On the other hand, the LG Q9 with model number LM-Q927L was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification site receiving approval. Speaking about specs, the phone is expected to boast similar specs as that of Q9 but this will be an Android One device, running Android Pie operating system out-of-the-box.
To recall, the same device was certified on Wi-Fi Alliance in November 2018. In mid-December, the phone was listed by Netflix amongst the mobile devices that have the certification for streaming its HD and HDR videos.
