LG has announced its LG K42, LG K52 in Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean region recently. But that time, the company has not confirmed anything regarding its Indian launch. Now, both the LG K42, LG K52 have been spotted on the Indian BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website with model numbers LM-K420EMW and LM-K520EMW respectively and the listing is hinting that these smartphones are going to launch in India pretty soon.
According to the listing that tipster Mukul Sharma spotted, an LG phone with model number LM-K420EMW was spotted on BIS and it is believed it is LG K42 while the phone with model number LM-K520EMW is believed to be LG K52.
LG K42 Specifications
LG K42 boasts a 6.6-inch HD+ notch display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. Its back panel has a wave pattern and comes with an anti-scratch UV coating. It packs an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion.
On the rear, you get a quad-camera setup with a combination of a 13-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel superwide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. There is an 8-megapixel snapper housed inside the front notch.
A 4000mAh battery backs the device and it runs Android 10-based LG UX OS. Connectivity parts are managed by 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, micro USB port, GPS/ GLONASS, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The phone sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated button to access the Google Assistant. The device is also compliant with eight MIL-STD 810G tests.
LG K52 Specifications
LG K52 flaunts a 6.6-inch 20:9 HD+ FullVision Display. It ships with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) 12nm processor clocked at 2.3GHz and is coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage which is further expandable up to 2TB with microSD.
Backed by a 4000mAh battery, the handset is pre-installed with Android 10 OS. In the camera department, it features a 48MP primary camera, 5MP 115° ultra-wide sensor, 2MP macro sensor, 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, it features a 13MP camera.
The phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Google Assistant button. Connectivity features onboard are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / GLONASS, USB Type-C, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack.
