| By DWR Editor

LG G8 ThinQ launch is just a few days away and we have been treated to a leak that hints at the price of the device. The South Korean company with its new flagship might be looking to take on other competitors in terms of price. If the new leak on Reddit is to be believed then LG G8 ThinQ will start at $1,199.99 CAD (roughly Rs. 64,300). Even though the leaked price seems expensive compared to its predecessor LG G7 ThinQ which was launched at Rs 39,990, we have to note that the leaked pricing in Canada, and in other regions, the LG G8 ThinQ might be priced in a different way.

Moreover, the pricing is for the 128GB variant, which means you get double the storage. Another possibility is that this flagship could be packed with some great upgrades compared to its predecessor could mean a price hike.

LG’s new G8 ThinQ is one of the most anticipated smartphones launches of the MWC 2019. Rumours so far have claimed that the phone will feature 6.1-inch screen, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 152 x 72 x 8.4mm dimension, USB Type-C port, loudspeaker grille, power button and SIM tray on the right, 3.5mm audio socket at the bottom, volume buttons on the left, and a Google Assistant button.

A recent report hinted that the LG G8 ThinQ will come with ToF (3D Time of Flight) camera, 3D object tracking, face unlock, background blur and AR (Augmented Reality) features. Other rumored specs of the device include a Snapdragon 855 chipset, dual-rear camera setup, and a rear fingerprint scanner.
