Lenovo Z5s launched with 6.3-inch FHD+ water drop notch display and triple cameras

After a lot of rumours and leaks, Lenovo finally unveiled its Z5s smartphone in China as promised. The device comes with waterdrop notch housed on its display which is completely different from the rumour mill that the device comes with a punch hole and in-screen front camera. Instead, its features are completely different from the rumoured specs. let’s get into details.

Specifications and features

The Lenovo Z5s features a 6000-series aluminium frame and Corning Gorilla glass rear shell. On the rear side, it comes with a triple camera vertical stack setup similar to the  Huawei P20 Pro. The fingerprint sensor is housed on the back panel The handset comes with P2i splash-resistant coating.

On Display, The new handset rumours meant some false alarm where the smartphone include a 6.39-inch Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio with an impressive 92.6 per cent screen-to-body ratio. At the heart, The device is powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset and coupled by a 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM. The memory configuration gives you two options 64 GB and 128 GB. There is also an option for expanding storage via a microSD card slot.

On camera, `There is a triple camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel telephoto lens for 2X zoom, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there’s also a 16-megapixel selfie camera hidden in the waterdrop notch at the front. The device is backed up by a  3,300mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging support.

Pricing and availability

The Lenovo Z5s which was launched in China is priced at 1398 Yuan (Rs 14,410 approx.) for base variant and for a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage combination variant will cost you 1598 Yuan (Rs 16,475 approx) while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version will cost you 1898 Yuan (Rs 19,565 approx. The smartphone is available in three colours namely: Honey Orange, Gray and Titanium Crystal Blue.

As per FoneArena, the new device is going up for pre-orders starting today and will be going on sale in China starting December 24.
