Lenovo had launched the Lenovo Z5 in June of this year and even though it was claimed to feature a bezel-less full-screen design, the smartphone launched with the notched display as a mid-range phone. Now, the company is gearing up to launch a Lenovo Z5 Pro with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, no notch display.
The CEO of the company, Chang Cheng has announced that the Lenovo Z5 Pro will be introduced on 1st of November and also has posted a teaser of the device that reveals the slide-out camera design which is similar to the Oppo F7. Thus, the Lenovo Z5 Pro will be the first smartphone from the company to feature the in-display fingerprint sensor as confirmed by the CEO. The Xiaomi’s Mi Mix 3 is also launched with similar slide-out camera mechanism, on October 25.
Lenovo Z5 Pro Specifications
As per the rumored specifications, the Lenovo Z5 Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.42-inch AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is tipped to come with a 4000mAh battery with support for fast-charging. In the camera department, the Lenovo Z5 Pro is expected to feature a 20MP+16MP dual camera setup at the rear and a 25MP selfie shooter on the front. We have to wait for the official launch of the smartphone in China on November 1st to know all the specifications and details of the device.
To recall, the recently launched Lenovo Z5 came with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display and was powered with 1.8GHz Snapdragon 836 processor along with 6GB of RAM. In terms of optics, the smartphone equipped with a 16MP main sensor on the rear along with an 8MP secondary camera and also an 8MP camera on the front. The device is backed by a 3300mAh battery with fast-charging technology.
