Lenovo Z5 Pro Launched – Slider Design, In-display Fingerprint, Quad Cameras

Lenovo finally unveiled its new ‘Lenovo Z5 Pro’ in China. The smartphone comes with a full-screen display with no ugly notches as the company has adopted a slider design to get rid of the notches. Along with the slider, the Lenovo Z5 Pro features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The new Lenovo Z5 Pro with the slider design is set to compete against the recently launched Honor Magic 2 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. But, Lenovo claims to have beaten all other competitors with the highest screen-to-body ratio and a low price.

Lenovo Z5 Pro Specifications

The Lenovo Z5 Pro is launched with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is backed by a 3,350mAh battery and comes with 18W fast charging support. In the camera department, the Lenovo Z5 Pro has a primary camera of 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor while the secondary camera includes 16-megapixel Sony IMX519 sensor on the rear with dual f/1.8 aperture lens. Up front, there is a primary camera of 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel infrared camera with a f/2.2 aperture.

The Lenovo Z5 Pro is the first Lenovo phone to pack Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 710 chipset. The device has been launched in two variants – the base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the top end variant of the phone packs 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is no SD card slot for further expansion of the storage via SD card. The smartphone runs ZUI 10.0 based Android Oreo OS and there is no information regarding the Pie update from the company.

Lenovo Z5 Pro Price

The Lenovo Z5 Pro has priced 1,998 Yuan (approx. Rs 21,000) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. While, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant comes for 2,998 Yuan (approx. Rs 31,600). The smartphone is launched in only in black color.
