Qualcomm unveiled the new SoC Snapdragon 855 in the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii, earlier this month. Now, the first smartphone with a chipset is already available.
Lenovo has just released the Z5 Pro GT, the world’s first smartphone, supported by the latest Qualcomm chipset. The Lenovo Z5 Pro is equipped by up to 12 GB of RAM and sliders. This phone has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a fingerprint scanner underneath, sliding mechanism, hiding the dual selfie camera setup of 16 MP + 8 MP.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Specifications
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT sports a 6.39-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. There is a Corning Gorilla Glass on top for protection. As we mentioned earlier, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset clocked at 2.84 GHz. The device supports expandable support via microSD card (up to 256GB).
In terms of optics, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT have a dual camera set up both on the front and the back. There is a 16 MP + 24 MP set up on the back and upfront, the smartphone holds a 16 MP + 8 MP dual camera set up.
The smartphone runs ZUI 10.0 is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a 3,350mAh battery.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT Price and Availability
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has been launched in four storage variants: the base variant with 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage priced at CNY 2,698 (approx. Rs 28,000), a 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant which is priced at CNY 2,998 (approx. Rs 31,000), 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant priced at CNY 3,398 (approx. Rs 35,000) and a top-end variant with massive 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant priced at CNY 4,398 (approx. Rs 45,000).
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has been launched in two colours options: ceramic black, and carbon black.
The pre-orders for the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT begin in China on 15 January and the smartphone goes on sale from 24 January.
