Lenovo S5 Pro with Dual Selfie Cameras Launched: Price, Features and Specifications

Lenovo S5 Pro, the successor to the Lenovo S5, has been launched in China with dual selfie cameras.  The smartphone is already available for pre-orders and the sale will start on October 23. In March, the company released the predecessor Lenovo S5 in the Chinese market.

Lenovo S5 Pro comes with a premium looking metal unibody design and comes with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2240 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, the smartphone features a dual rear setup with the 12-megapixel primary lens with f/2.6 aperture and 20-megapixel secondary lens. Up front, there is a dual front-facing camera setup with 20-megapixel + 8-megapixel cameras with f/2.2 aperture beside an IR camera and other sensors.

The phone is blessed with a 3500mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The Lenovo S5 Pro runs on ZUI 5.0 which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, and Gyroscope.

Lenovo S5 Pro Price and Availability

Lenovo S5 Pro comes in two variants- the base variant with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage is priced at 1,298 Yuan (approx. Rs. 13,732) and the high-end variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at 1,398 Yuan (approx. Rs. 14,790). The device is available in three color options- Ice Blue, Pure Gold, and Jing Yao Black. The smartphone is already available for pre-orders and the sale will start on October 23.
