Lenovo Legion 2 Pro confirmed to launch on April 8

Lenovo has officially confirmed that it will announce its gaming flagship smartphone, the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro, on April 8 in China. It will compete with the newly announced Nubia Red Magic 6 series, the ASUS ROG Phone 5 series, and Xiaomi’s Black Shark 4 lineup smartphones.

According to an official post on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the new Legion 2 Pro will be launched at an event scheduled to be held on April 8.

Going by the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro Geekbench listing leak with model number Lenovo L70081, it will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. It will be paired with 16GB of RAM. It is said to ship with Android 11 OS out of the box. The handset managed to achieve 1,129 points on the single-core test and 3,763 points on the multi-core test. Other details of the device, however, have not been revealed yet.

As far as the speculations are concerned, Lenovo Legion 2 Pro will get a 144Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display, UFS 3.1 storage, and LPDDR5 RAM. The device is said to be backed by a 5000mAh battery and the 3C certification of the phone also revealed that the phone will have 110W fast-charging support.

Lenovo Legion Phone Duel specifications

Lenovo Legion Phone Duel specifications include a 6.65-inch AMOLED display that produces a Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The panel is integrated with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 865+ SoC paired with Adreno 650 GPU. The processor is coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. 

The device sports a 64-megapixel primary lens with an f/1.89 aperture and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide lens with 120-degree FoV on the rear. There is a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. Backed by a 5000mAh battery, it carries support for 90W Super flash charging.
