Lenovo K5 Pro and Lenovo K5S Launched in China with Dual Front and Rear Cameras

Chinese smartphone maker, Lenovo has announced two new smartphones in China today. These phones are launched along with the Lenovo S5 Pro and they are named as K5 Pro and K5S. Interestingly, both the phones are camera-centric and it holds dual-front facing and rear cameras.

Lenovo K5 Pro Specifications

The Lenovo K5 Pro offers a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with Gorilla glass protection. The new smartphone is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with Adreno 509 GPU. The device is backed by a 4050mAh battery. The Lenovo K5 Pro comes with two variant one with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Another one with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The storage of the phone can be further expanded up to 256 GB through the microSD card.

In terms of optics, the new Lenovo K5 comes with a dual camera setup on the back with 16MP + 5MP cameras. On the front, the device holds the same camera setup of 16MP + 5MP. This dual SIM smartphone runs on Lenovo’s custom ZUI based on Android Oreo 8.1.

The price of the Lenovo K5 is starting at 998 Yuan for the 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage variant, whereas the 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage are priced at 1198 Yuan.

Lenovo K5S Specifications

Lenovo K5s is a somewhat less powerful and budget-friendly variant of the K5. The device is equipped with the 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1440 × 720 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. On the camera department, the Lenovo K5S acquires dual camera setup on the rear with a 13-megapixel camera with a 5-megapixel depth sensor. This phone is backed by a 3090mAh battery and it runs the ZUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The phone will be available in two color options; Black and Blue. The Lenovo K5s is priced at 798 yuan, approximately Rs. 8,500.
