Lenovo A7 with Unisoc chipset and 4,000mAh battery launched

Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo has launched a new budget phone called Lenovo A7. The new phone comes with an Unisoc processor and it flaunts a waterdrop notch screen. It also has a dual-rear camera and a 4000mAh battery. Unfortunately, the price of the Lenovo A7 is yet to be revealed, and there is no word about the launch of the phone in other countries. The Lenovo A7 comes with a 6.09-inch HD+ display of 720 x 1560 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 320 PPI. The smartphone uses a rear-mounted sensor for biometric authentication. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core entry-level Unisoc SC9863 and PowerVR IMG8322 graphics. TheUnisoc SC9863A has an 8 ARM Cortex-A55 cores comprising of a performance cluster that clocks up to 1.6 GHz and an efficiency cluster that chugs along at up to 1.2 GHz. This chipset also houses the PowerVR IMG8322 /GE8322 graphics card and also boasts of 1080p video support. It is backed by 2GB RAM.

With Lenovo A7, one gets a waterdrop notch that houses the 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the back of the back, there is a dual-camera setup, which includes a primary lens of 13-megapixel and a secondary shooter of 2-megapixel. The camera offers features like LED flash and AI scene recognition.

The Lenovo A7 smartphone ships a 4,000mAh battery and the company claims to deliver a standby time of 416 hours. The smartphone will be available for purchase in two color options, including black and blue.
