Leaked Press Renders Reveal Nokia X5 With Wide Notch & Thin Bezels

| By DWR Editor

The press renders suggested that the new Nokia X5 is the real product to be launched by Nokia. Nokia X leaked in the press renders on Baidu, so the arrival of the new Nokia X is confirmed by the company.

The leaked renders appeared on Baidu shows the overall design is just like the recent Nokia devices. The leak shows a phone with a notch, thin bezels on the side and the Nokia branding on the back panel. The notch of the device is wide and a glass panel and a dual-camera setup aligned vertically in the centre of the panel on the back.

Some other rumors state that Nokia might be working on two more phones, one with Snapdragon 710 SoC, and another one with the Snapdragon 845 SoC. Also Read:- Nokia X6 global roll-out reportedly starts from July 19, starting with Hong Kong

Nokia X5 Specifications and Price

As far as specifications concerned, this leak suggests that the Nokia X5 is expected to have a 5.86-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1520, and Nokia X5 will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series SoC or MediaTek Helio P60 SoC clocked at 2 GHz. It seems the unannounced Nokia X5 likely to have multiple variants like 3GB of RAM + 32 GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The Nokia X5 will also have a dual camera on the back and a notched screen like Nokia X6. The device has a support of Bluetooth 4.2 and will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Just like Nokia X6, this device also misses the metal bezels around the camera setup and the fingerprint sensor. The Nokia X5 might feature an HD+ resolution, instead of Full HD+ and a 13 MP + 5 MP dual camera setup on the rear, which is not impressive at all. The price is expected to be no more than CNY999/$150/ RMB 999, that is around Rs. 10,300 in India.
