(LEAKED) Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G Price in India, Specifications

Motorola will introduce a new Edge-series phone in India on February 24. Apparently, it will be called Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G. Ahead of the official launch, the device’s specifications and price have been leaked online. 

According to a new leak, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G will sport a punch-hole display design. The device is rumored to have a 144Hz refresh rate display. Talking about the battery, it is tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 68W wired charging. Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is expected to be a rebranded version of the Moto Edge X30 unveiled last year in China.

As per the tipster Yogesh Brar (in collaboration with 91Mobiles), the price of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G in India is likely to be between Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 50,000. It is expected to be available in Cosmic Blue colour option when it launches.

Motorola Edge X30 was launched in China for CNY 3,199 (nearly Rs. 38,000) for its base 8GB RAM/128GB storage model whereas the 8GB RAM/256GB storage and 12GB RAM/256GB storage models are priced at CNY 3,399 (nearly Rs. 40,400) and CNY 3,599 (nearly Rs. 42,800), respectively.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G specifications (expected)

According to the leak, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G boots Android 12 -based MYUI 3.0 out of the box. Motorola is likely to provide two years of major Android OS updates for the device. 

The device will have a 6.7-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is also expected to have Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the back.

Similar to the Moto Edge X30, Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G should also come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

In terms of optics, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G reportedly packs a triple camera setup on the rear with a combination of a 50-megapixel OmniVision’s OV50A40 primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens. Moreover, the camera unit is expected to feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front of the device could have a 60-megapixel sensor. 

In terms of connectivity, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro 5G is said to support 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The phone is expected to offer 13 5G bands as well as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It could be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and support 68W wired charging.
