Huawei seems to be working on a Nova 4 successor – the Nova 5, as the case renders of the device have now emerged online. The renders were posted by a tipster showcases the smartphone case and reveals the design of the phone.
As seen in the image above, the Huawei Nova 5 case shows a longer cut out at the top-left corner. The case render reveals that there is no physical fingerprint sensor on the back, confirming the presence of in-display fingerprint scanner. The power button and volume rockers are located on the right side of the device. On the bottom side, the case has three cutouts that respectively belong to an external speaker, a USB / micro USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The top edge of the handset a small round-shaped cutout which one seems to feature a microphone.

In a separate post, another tipster revealed that the upcoming Nova 5 will come equipped with triple rear cameras like the Huawei P30 and 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology like the Huawei P30 Pro.
Recently, Editor-in-Chief of XDA Developers Mishaal Rahman shared the model numbers of forthcoming phones from Huawei and Honor fuelled by Kirin 980 chipset. From those model numbers, the SEA-AL10 / TL10 model number is rumored to be the Huawei Nova 5 smartphone.
Talking about the specs, the SEA-AL10 / TL10 (believed to be the Huawei Nova 5) is expected to feature 6.39-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It is likely to sport a waterdrop notch similar to Nova 3. It is being said that the handset will be backed by a 3,500mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the triple rear camera set up on the phone is expected to include a 12.3-megapixel Sony IMX380 wide-angle lens, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, and a Sony IMX316 ToF (Time of Flight) sensor. Up front, the device may feature a Sony IMX576 25-megapixel camera.
