Indian smartphone maker, Lava has announced the new ‘Made in India’ phone dubbed as Lava Z66. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 7777, it will be available for sale in three colors: Marine Blue, Berry Red, and Midnight Blue. The smartphone will be available for purchase through offline stores and will soon be available online on Amazon and Flipkart.

Lava Z66 offers a 6.08-inch HD+ display with a notch. The 2.5D curved screen of the phone delivers a 19:9 aspect ratio. Fuelling the device is a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot on the phone to expand storage up to 128GB.
It has a dual-camera setup on the rear that comprises a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor alongside a LED flash. The camera features include beauty mode, night mode, HDR mode, burst mode, panorama, time-lapse, slow motion.

The Lava Z66 is packed with a 3,950mAh battery that offers up to 16 hours of battery life. It ships with Android 10 OS out of the box, so the user can get the pure stock Android experience. The back of the device also has a fingerprint scanner and it also supports a face-unlock feature that unlocks the phone in just 0.6 seconds.
In terms of connectivity, the handset has dual sim support (4G+4G), Bluetooth V4.2, OTG support, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, and a proximity sensor.
