Indian smartphone brand Lava launched a new smartphone in India called Lava Z53. Targeted at entry-level consumers, Lava Z53 will go on sale at a price of Rs 4,829. The smartphone will be available in offline stores.
As a launch offers on the Lava Z53, Jio is offering an instant discount of Rs 1,200 for the buyers of the Lava Z53 in the form of recharge vouchers and an additional 50GB of 4G data. Users will get these benefits only on Rs 199 and Rs 299 recharges.
Lava Z53 Specifications
The Lava Z53 sports a 6.1-inch dew-drop screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The handset comes in a single variant. The smartphone runs Android Pie 9.0 out of the box.
For imaging duties, the Lava Z53 offers a single camera on the back featuring 8-megapixel. On the front, users get a 5-megapixel selfie camera. There is no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, instead, you get a face unlock feature that is claimed to unlock the phone in under 0.4 seconds.

Backed by a 4,120mAh battery, the Lava Z53 includes Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm jack, USB 2.0. In terms of battery capacity also, this is one of the few entry-level smartphones to offer such a large-sized battery considering the price. Lava Z53 will compete against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Go and the Realme C2 among a few other smartphones in India.
