The JioBook laptop will be launched soon. A report by XDA Developers hinted at JioBook specifications back in March. Aside from that, three JioBook variants received BIS certification in September with model numbers NB1118QMW, NB1148QMW, and NB1112MM. Now, a JioBook variant with the model number NB1112MM has been spotted on Geekbench revealing the key specifications.
Based on the Geekbench listing, the JioBook laptop (NB1112MM) features a MediaTek MT8788 processor, along with 2GB of RAM. As per the previous leaks, the JioBook will run Jio’s custom JioOS based on Android. According to the Geekbench listing, the laptop runs Android 11. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the JioBook scored 1,178 and 4,246 points, respectively.
Based on previous leaks, the JioBook is expected to have a 1366×768 pixels resolution display. As of now, there is no information on the display size of the laptop. It is expected that one of the JioBook models will have a Snapdragon 665 processor, in addition to a Snapdragon X12 4G modem. One JioBook model is expected to come with 2GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage, while another variant may come with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.
In terms of other details, the laptop will come with an HDMI connector, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE connectivity support. JioBook is also expected to come preloaded with Jio applications including JioStore, JioMeet, and JioPages. Along with Jio’s proprietary apps, the laptop is also said to come preloaded with Microsoft applications including Microsoft Teams, Edge, and Office.
It is unknown when this upcoming laptop will launch and how much it will cost. The laptop has already been certified by BIS and is spotted on Geekbench, so it is likely to be launched soon.
