Vodafone has refreshed its base offering in unlimited prepaid recharge package by providing double the data where the customers can get more benefits than the Jio. It looks like Vodafone put forth a counter-act on Jio. According to a report by TelecomTalk, Vodafone is now offering 2.8GB daily 3G or 4G data with its Rs 199 prepaid instead of 1.4GB.
This offers can’t be avail to all Vodafone subscribers only the selected customers. Additionally, this offer is applicable only in those telecom circles where Vodafone has the 4G presence.
The refreshed prepaid pack come with benefits of up to 2.8GB 3G/ 4G data per day with the same validity of 28 days. This gives users a combined data limit of 78.4GB for the entire period. Jio Rs. 198 recharge, on the other hand, provides users with 2GB data per day for 28 days. The Rs. 199 Vodafone recharge is also said to come with unlimited voice calls with daily and weekly FUP limits, but no SMS benefits. The free unlimited voice call limits include 250 minutes daily and 1,000 minutes weekly.
The Rs. 199 Vodafone pack now betters Jio’s Rs. 198 prepaid pack that currently offers 2GB of 4G data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS messages per day. The Jio offering also comes with a complimentary subscription to Jio’s suite of apps that include the likes of Jio TV, Jio News, Jio Cinema, and others.
Vodafone India has recently introduced new plans in India with ‘lowest bill guarantee’ feature for postpaid subscribers, This new feature claims to automatically keep the subscribers on the lowest possible bill on their chosen plan by billing them on the best-suited plan within the RED postpaid portfolio basis their monthly usage.
The Red postpaid plans are also offering complimentary mobile insurance and unlimited international as well. As part of another new option, subscribers will be able to bring together devices used by friends or family members under ‘RED Together’. Vodafone claims guaranteed savings of up to 20% on total rentals and the convenience of paying for all under one bill.
Vodafone has also partnered with Amazon to give its select customers access to Amazon Prime services for one year. To get the one-year free subscription of Amazon Prime, subscribers would need to have a Vodafone RED postpaid plan.
