Telecom giant Jio is set to reveal a new plan that will offer one year free Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription to its subscribers. To recall, the company had earlier offered Hotstar Premium through Jio Play, but this time users will get access to the annual subscription that’s worth Rs 399. This new subscription will give access to Disney+ shows, kids content, Hotstar exclusive Specials, live sports events and much more. Unfortunately, Jio hasn’t revealed the specific launch date of the offer. They are yet to reveal whether the bundling will be limited to specific plans or not.
Another competitor Airtel also has a similar bundling offer which gives access to Disney+ VIP subscription for a year alongside 3GB data with a validity of 28 days on Rs. 401 prepaid recharge plan. It seems Jio is set to give tough competition to Airtel by providing similar offers to its users.
Recently, Jio started giving Reliance Digital, Trend, Trends Footwear and Ajio discount vouchers of up to Rs 5,100 on every prepaid recharge in June. This offer is called as “Jio 400% benefits recharge offer” and it is valid on recharges Rs 249 and above. The vouchers will be of the same value as the recharge and will be credited in the coupons section of the MyJio app. These vouchers can be redeemed on users’ next purchase through online and offline stores. However, the Trend, Trends Footwear and Ajio discount vouchers are applicable only on purchases of Rs 999 or more and users will get a maximum discount of Rs 300. The Reliance Digital will have a denomination of Rs 249 and is valid on a minimum purchase of Rs 10,000.
