iQoo Z6 Pro officially confirmed, Tipped to launch in India on April 20

After introducing the iQoo Z6 smartphone in India last month, iQoo is now preparing to introduce the iQoo Z6 Pro 5G here in the coming weeks. Recently, the company launched a social media contest in which they asked questions related to iQoo Z6 Pro and are also giving away 2 units of the phone. You can enter the contest until the 12th of April, which indicates that the smartphone will launch on the 20th of April in India.

During the iQoo Raid Nights Grand Finale Episode on Youtube, the brand also revealed that the upcoming iQoo Z6 Pro will be the fastest smartphone available for under Rs 25,000. iQoo also revealed in the video that the upcoming Z6 series smartphone has scored more than 5,50,000 points in the latest Antutu benchmark. Also, the iQoo Z6 Pro will be available exclusively on Amazon in India, just like other iQoo smartphones.

It is expected that the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. This processor was also used in the iQoo Z5. Other iQoo Z6 Pro’s specifications are unknown at this point.

iQOO Z6 5G has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD full-HD+ display with a 2408 x 1080 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz sampling rate. It has a punch-hole cutout at the center.

Under the hood, it is fitted with Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The triple rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The bokeh sensor, however, is only available on the 6GB and 8GB variants and is not available on the 4GB model. On the front, it features a 16MP selfie camera (f/2.0).

It ships with FunTouch OS 12 based on Android 12. Powered by a 5,000mAh battery, it supports 18W fast charging. With an OTG cable, it also supports reverse charging, so you and your other devices won’t run out of power. 

In terms of connectivity, it has 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz, 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/QZSS/Galileo, and USB Type-C.
