iQOO Z3 5G listed on IMEI database; launch in India soon

iQOO launched the iQOO Z3 in China in March. The company is yet to make an official announcement on the availability of the smartphone in India. Now, the device has been spotted on the IMEI database with model number V2073A. The listing hints at the launch of the iQOO Z3 in India. To recall, the brand recently unveiled the iQOO 7 series in India with flagship chipsets including the Snapdragon 870 and the Snapdragon 888. 

iQOO has not revealed any information on the India launch of the iQOO Z3. The listing hints at an imminent launch of a smartphone in the country. Other details on the iQOO Z3 are pretty scarce so we should not guess anything too soon and rather wait for more details to come.

iQOO Z3 price in China starts at 1699 yuan (approx. Rs 18,805) for the base 6GB + 128GB model while the top 8GB + 256GB model costs 1999 yuan (approx. Rs 22,130).

iQOO Z3 Specifications

As for its specifications, the iQOO Z3 flaunts a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD waterdrop display with a 2408×1080 pixels screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The panel has HDR support, 401 PPI has a 90.61% screen-body ratio, covers 96% NTSC color gamut, and has a 1500:1 contrast ratio.

The firepower is taken care of by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 5G processor that is coupled with 6GB/8GB LPDDR 4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It ships with iQOO 1.0 based on Android 11.

It sports a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary camera with f/1.79 aperture which is accompanied by an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide with 120-degree FOV, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens.  At the front is a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter.

The device is backed by a 4,400mAh and includes 55W FlashCharge support. Other features on the new phone include- 3.5mm audio jack, Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with face unlock support, Wi-Fi 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD code support, and SA/NSA 5G.
