iQOO is reportedly gearing up to launch a new phone, the iQOO U1x. Now, some renders and key specifications of the upcoming smartphone have appeared online, which gives a fair hint about the upcoming design of the iQOO U1x.
As per the leaked renders, iQOO U1x has a vertically-aligned triple rear camera setup on the rear whereas on the front it has a waterdrop notch. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will be available in Light Black and Morning Frost colors.
The report has revealed some specifications of the iQOO U1x. To start with, the smartphone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. The battery is said to be 5,000mAh. However, there is no information on fast charging. In terms of memory, the phone will be available in three options including 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
The iQOO U1x is listed with a CNY 9999 price but this is a placeholder and the phone will go on pre-booking on October 21. We can expect the phone to launch soon.
Earlier this year, the brand unveiled the iQOO U1 that comes with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display that has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. There is a punch-hole that houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. On the rear, there is a triple camera setup with a 48-megapixel main lens, a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
At its core, the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor is working as its brain of operations. The phone comes with up to 6GB of LPPDR4x RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 10-based iQOO UI and packs in a 4,500 mAh battery.
