Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has officially unveiled the iQOO U1x smartphone in home-country China. It is marketed as an improved version of the iQOO U1 model that was launched back in July.
iQOO U1x Price, Availability
The smartphone will be available in two colors, Morning Forest and Light Black, at a price of 899 Yuan (approx. Rs 9,946) for the 4GB/64 GB version. While the 6GB/64GB version will cost 999 yuan (about Rs 10,052). The top variant with 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage is priced at 1,199 Yuan (roughly. Rs 13,260). In China, the iQOO U1 is up for pre-sale and it is slated to hit the shelves by November 1.
iQOO U1x Specifications
iQOO U1x uses an IPS panel of 6.51-inches with a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels. The waterdrop notch display supports 296ppi pixel density, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and screen to body ratio of 89 percent. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the side of the phone.
The heart of the device is the 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. It has an LPPDR4x RAM with up to 6GB and UFS 2.1 storage memory up to 128GB. The phone has a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh. There is support for 18W fast charging.
In the camera department, it features a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a 13-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture, a macro lens of 2-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture and 4cm focal length, and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. On the front side, there’s an 8-megapixel snapper (f/1.8) for taking selfies.
It is running the Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box with iQOO UI. Connectivity options inside the phone include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, micro USB, a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measures 164.41 x 76.32 x 8.41mm and it weighs 192.3 grams.
