iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition confirmed to launch on May 24 with Snapdragon 870 chipset

iQOO, the sub-brand of popular Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has confirmed that they will be launchinv iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition in home country China on May 24. The upcoming iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition is said to be a toned-down version of the iQOO Neo 5 that was announced back in March this year.

Now, ahead of the launch, the phone has been listed officially on Vivo China’s website and it reveals the design of the smartphone. To start with the design, the iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition has a punch-hole at the top-right corner. On the rear, the phone seen to feature a vertically aligned triple camera setup with an LED flash at the top.

The phone also comes equipped with a side-facing fingerprint sensor. As per the listing, the smartphone will go on sale in two colours options – Black and White.

Coming to the specs, the listing reveals that the iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition will pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 mobile platform under the hood coupled with UFS 3.1 storage. It is said to come with a 6.57 inche OLED display with full HD+ resolution. Talking about the battery, there will be a 4430mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the iQOO Neo 5 Vitality Edition will come with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, it has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. The phone will ship with Android 11 OS out of the box.

iQOO Neo 5 Specifications, Features

To recall, the iQOO Neo 5 was announced with a 6.62-inch 120Hz OLED panel, Snapdragon 870 SoC, up to 12 GB of RAM, 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, 4500mAh battery with support for 66W fast-charging.

For photography, it has a 48MP f/1.8 Sony IMX589 primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP module. There is also a 16MP front-facing camera. It ships with company’s own OriginOS which is based on Android 11.
