Vivo’s new spin-off brand iQOO is preparing to launch another gaming-centric smartphone. The company has revealed through a teaser that the new iQOO Neo 3 5G phone will be launched in China on April 23. The teaser revealed through the company’s Weibo handle doesn’t reveal much else, but it does reveal that the upcoming smartphone from the company will be fuelled by the Snapdragon 865 SoC.
According to the official teaser posted on Weibo, the phone will have a display with a 144Hz display. To recall, the earlier launched iQOO phones featured a 60Hz refresh rate screen. Further, it is confirmed to pack Snapdragon 865 SoC. This chipset will provide both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G support to the phone. There will be UFS 3.1 storage on the device.

Going by the rumors, the base variant of the iQOO Neo 3 will have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. On the software front, it will run Android 10-based FunTouch OS 10. As far as the cameras are concerned, the device is tipped to feature a quad-camera setup on the rear with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The handset will be powered by the 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
