Vivo‘s spin-off brand iQOO has unveiled iQOO 5 duo in China. The new iQOO 5 series includes two new phones: iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro. The key highlights of the iQOO 5 duo includes Amoled display, 120Hz refresh rate, triple camera setup, fast charging and Snapdragon 865 SoC.

iQOO 5, iQOO 5 Pro Specifications
The front of the both the phones are dominated by a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with support for 120Hz refresh rate. Both the displays have 20:9 aspect ratio, a punch-hole that houeses selfie camera, 1,300nits brightness, 100 percent P3 color gamut, HDR10+ and anvin-display fingerprint scanner. The display on the iQOO 5 is flat while the iQOO 5 Pro has curved display.
Powering the phones are the Snapdragon 865 processor and it is coupled with LPPDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The iQOO 5 series smartphones come with larger VC liquid cooling heat dissipation system with thermal conductivity gel.
For optics, the iQOO 5 comes with a triple-camera support comprising of a Samsung GN1 50-megapixel primary camera, an 13-megapixel ultrawide lens and an 8-megapixel portrait lens. It also supports EIS and 20x digital zoom. iQOO 5 Pro, on the other hand, has Samsung GN1 50-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel ultrawide lens with 120-degree field-of-view, and a 13-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. It also has support for support for OIS, 5x optical zoom, 60x hybrid zoom, and 8K video recording.
For selfies, there is the 16-megapixel front shooter peeping from inside the punch hole on the both smartphones.
iQOO 5 packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging support while the Pro version has a smaller 4,000mAh battery that comes with 120W fast charging. As per the company’s claim, 120W charging technology on the iQOO 5 Pro takes only 15 minutes to completely charge the device.
Connectivity and other features of the iQOO 5 duo include dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, X-axis linear motor, USB-C, stereo speakers with built-in audio chip, facial recognition, and Hi-Res audio support. Both the phones ship with iQOO UI 5.0 based Android 10 OS.
