After launching its iQOO 9 series in India earlier this year, Vivo‘s sub-brand is preparing to launch its next flagship phone, the iQOO 9T, in India.
91mobiles reported that the smartphone will launch in India in July. Additionally, the 9T has been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hinting at an imminent launch in the country. We also have some new information regarding the phone’s specifications.
According to the BIS database, the model number for the iQOO 9T is I2201. Even though the listing hints at an imminent launch, it does not provide any information about its specifications. There is no confirmation whether it will debut as India’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
iQOO 9T specifications (rumored)
According to sources, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset powered iQOO 9T will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Although there are no details on its battery, the device will support 120W fast charging. There are also no details on its camera specifications.
The iQOO 9T will be offered in two options: 8GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 1 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will be available in black color. It will also have a similar design to the iQOO 9 series, according to the report.
