The iQOO 9T 5G will debut in India on August 2. It will be the brand’s first T-series smartphone in India. iQOO 9T 5G will be rebranded iQOO 10 5G, a device that was announced in China earlier this year.

In the meantime, a number of videos unboxing the iQOO 9T 5G, from the popular tech Youtubers like Trakin Tech, Beebom, and Tech Burner have disclosed both variants’ pricing details. Furthermore, the videos revealed the details of the exchange and offers the company will announce at the event.
iQOO 9T 5G Price in India
iQOO 9T 5G will be available in two storage options in India. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will be priced at Rs 49,999, while the 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage variant will be priced at Rs 54,999. It is available in two colours – Alpha and Legend. Both colour options.
It will compete with the upcoming OnePlus 10T 5G, scheduled to launch on August 3. According to rumors, OnePlus will also launch the phone in India at the same price.
All ICICI Bank cardholders will receive an instant discount of Rs 4,000 on iQOO 9T 5G smartphone. In addition, other iQOO smartphone users will get a Rs 7,000 exchange bonus discount, while non-iQOO devices will receive up to a Rs 5,000 discount. Additionally, the company will offer no-cost EMIs for up to 12 months for the 9T 5G.
iQOO 9T Specifications
The iQOO 9 in India is different from the iQOO 9 Chinese variant. It is a rebranded Chinese version of iQOO 10. Aside from the chipset, the original iQOO 9 and the iQOO 10 shares a lot in common.
iQOO 9T includes a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and supports HDR10, 1500 nits peak brightness level, and 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It is protected by a layer of Schott Xensation UP glass.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, the handset packs 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset also has VC liquid cooling system. The device also features a Vivo V1+ chip for image processing and display optimizations.
Software0wise, the handset comes pre-installed with Funtouch OS 12.1 based on Android 12 and the company promises 3 Android updates and 4 years of security updates.
On its rear, the phone is equipped with a triple camera system consisting an OIS-assisted 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide + macro unit, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor with a 2x optical lens. The front punch-hole houses a 16MP camera.
It also has an IP52 rating. The device gets juice from a 4,700mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging. In addition, it is equipped with dual stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
