We are already aware that Vivo’s spin-off brand iQOO will launch a new smartphone, dubbed as iQOO 3 very soon. Ahead of the official launch, iQOO 3 has allegedly been spotted in the database of the benchmarking app Geekbench. The listing in the database has revealed a few details regarding the specifications of the iQOO 3 smartphone.
Judging by the benchmark test, the iQOO 3 will have a chipset dubbed as “kona” which corresponds to the codename of the Snapdragon 865 chip, will have 8GB of RAM and the Android 10 OS. The octa-core processor has a base frequency of 1.80GHz. As per the test results of Geekbench 5.1.0. The smartphone was able to score 914 points in single-core mode and 3217 in multi-core mode.
Unfortunately, there’s no word regarding the other specifications, pricing, and availability details of the iQOO 3 at the moment. Recently, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) had approved two unannounced iQOO phones with model numbers I1927 and I1928. The Geekbench listing for the device comes with a different model number dubbed Vivo I1927 which is expected to be the Indian variant of the IQOO 3.

To recall, the iQOO 3 has listed on TENAA with a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It has a punch-hole at the top right corner. The display may support only a 60Hz refresh rate.
Powering the device is a 2.84GHz octa-core chipset paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB storage onboard, per TENAA. The handset will boot the Android 10 OS.
The V1955A also has a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, 13-megapixel secondary sensor, another 13-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The sensors are likely to be the RGB snapper, a wide-angle lens, a macro shooter, and a depth sensor or a telephoto lens. This smartphone measures 159.53 x75.23×8.13mm and weighs 179 grams.
The phone will be powered by a 4,370mAh battery and as per the 3C listing, will offer 55W fast charging support. The device measures 158.51 x 74.88 x 9.16mm and weighs 214.5 grams. As per the listing, the iQOO 3 will launch in the Black color option.
