Infinix Zero 5G announced in India; 120Hz display, Dimensity 900 SoC

The Infinix Zero 5G is the first 5G smartphone to be launched in India by Infinix. Last week, the device was released globally, and it has finally arrived in India. In this article, we’ll look into the Infinix Zero 5G price, specifications, and availability information in greater detail.

Infinix Zero 5G Price in India, Availability

Infinix offers only one variant of the Infinix Zero 5G. The phone comes in 8GB RAM + 128GB of internal storage and it is priced at Rs 19,999. It will come in two colors: Cosmic Black and Skylight Orange. The device will go on sale starting February 18 on Flipkart. Buyers can also avail of 10% off up to Rs 750 using Citi Credit/Debit Cards.

Infinix Zero 5G Specifications

The Zero 5G comes equipped with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 2460 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits brightness. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

As mentioned earlier, Infinix Zero 5G is the brand’s first 5G device, and it comes with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, manufactured on a 6nm fabrication process. The device features 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also supports virtual RAM expansion, called MemFusion.

As for optics, the Infinix Zero 5G has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP main camera, a 13MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom & 30x digital zoom, and a 2MP depth sensor along with a quad-LED flash. The front of the device sports a 16MP selfie camera with a dual-LED flash. In addition, the camera offers features such as 960fps slow-mo, night selfie, and more.

Software-wise, the phone boots Android 11 OS-based XOS 10 skin. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. In addition, the device features Wi-Fi 6, Dual 5G SIM, heat pipe thermal module 2.0, 3D cooling master, MicroSD card slot, Arm Mali-G68 MC4 GPU, Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset measures 168.73 x 76.53 x 8.77 mm and weighs 199 grams.
