Infinix announced two new smart TVs under the X1 series in India late last year. When the X1-series was launched, there were two sizes available. The base 32-inch model and a 43-inch Full HD+ model. Six months after its launch, Infinix has added a new 40-inch smart TV to its X1 series of smart TVs in India. Priced at Rs 19,999, the 40-inch Full HD smart TV from Infinix will be available on Flipkart from August 6.

For a more immersive viewing experience, it has thin bezels. Additionally, the display supports HDR10, HLG, and has a brightness of 350 nits. According to Infinix, the 40-inch TV is equipped with EyeCare technology to eliminate blue light and improve colour, brightness, sharpness, and contrast.

Additionally, the smart TV is equipped with Infinix’s Epic 2.0 Image Engine, which is said to enhance overall picture quality. In addition, it is claimed to improve picture clarity, sharpness, colour, and contrast.

It comes with 24W box speakers with Dolby Audio. The company claims that its speakers provide a cinematic experience with rich, clear surround sound. There are multiple connectivity options on the TV, including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports, AV, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, etc. 

Android TV 9.0 is installed out-of-the-box with Chromecast built-in. A Google Assistant is also available on the Smart TV. Apps can also be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Furthermore, OTT apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+Hotstar, etc. are also supported.
