Infinix Smart 5 has finally been launched in India. The phone comes in a single 2GB/32GB model priced at Rs 7,199. Infinix Smart 5 will be available from Flipkart starting from February 18. It comes in Aegean Blue, Morandi Green, Obsidian Black, Purple color options. Among key features of the smartphone are an Helio G25 SoC, whopping 6000mAh battery, and HD+ screen.

Infinix Smart 5 gets a 6.82-inch HD+ drop notch display with 720×1640 pixels resolution, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 90.6% of Screen to body ratio, 440 nits brightness, and 1500:1 Contrast ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Helio G25 processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. It also comes with Mediatek Hyper EngineGame Technology that offers a smooth gaming experience through intelligent networking and resource management.
The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The battery is a 6000mAh one with AI Smart Power saving. The battery is claimed to offer up to 50 days of standby time. The brand also claims that the handset can last for up to 53 hours of 4G Talktime. There is a new ultra power saving mode that boosts the power by optimizing the power to the apps and thereby increases 25% battery backup.
This smartphone runs the company’s latest XOS 7 Dolphin, which is based on Android 10. It gets dual-rear cameras, a combination of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, and a low light sensor. Infinix Smart 5 features an 8-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture with a dedicated LED flash.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G support, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth, GPS, micro USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone sports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
