Infinix Smart 2 With 18:9 ‘FullView’ Display, Selfie Flash Launched in India: Price, Specifications

The Hong Kong-based company, Infinix has launched its midrange smartphone Infinix Smart 2 in India with an affordable price tag Rs 5,999 for the base model 2GB RAM/16GB storage which took it to place along with Xiaomi Redmi 5A, Moto C Plus, and Samsung Galaxy On5 in affording the game. The key highlights of the phone are its tall 18:9 display and 4G VoLTE support for high-speed data access. It runs on latest Android Oreo along with a preloaded Face Unlock feature.

The Chinese company also provide an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the Infinix Smart 2 along with a dual LED flash module which definitely attracts youth with such a low price.

Price and Availability

The new smartphone will be available for purchase from Flipkart on August 10. The handset is priced at Rs. 5,999 for its base model the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage configuration, And the higher variant comes at Rs. 6,999 with its 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The company is also providing colour options like Bordeaux Red, City Blue, Sandstone Black, and Serene Gold.

Infinix Smart 2 specifications

The new Infinix Smart 2 features a 5.45-inch HD+ full view display with 18:9 aspect ratio which covers 3 per cent screen-to-body-ratio with a maximum brightness of 500 nits.

The handset is powered by the MediaTek MTK6739 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB RAM/16GB internal storage and 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage in two variants.

The smartphone comes with a dedicated microSD slot which means you can insert two SIM cards and a microSD card simultaneously.

For snappers, the smartphone sports a 13MP primary camera sensor at the back with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), 5P Lens and dual LED flash support. On the front, it gets an 8 MP camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash for better clicks in low light.

The smartphone packs a 3050mAh battery claiming that it lasts up to 21 hours of standby time. Besides, It runs on Android Oreo right out-of-the-box with the company’s own XOS 3.3.0 Lite Hummingbird skin on top. The phone also comes with facial recognition support as well.
