Hong Kong-based smartphone company Infinix all set to launch its upcoming mid-range series in India, the Infinix Hot 9 Pro, and Infinix Hot 9, on May 29. Flipkart has confirmed this news by releasing a teaser and confirming the Infinix’ latest series will be Flipkart exclusive.

The landing page on the Flipkart also confirmed that the series smartphones will feature a 48-megapixel primary sensor on the rear.
Earlier, the company also confirmed that it will launch the Infinix Hot 9 Pro in India. Recently, the brand unveiled the Hot 9 Pro in Indonesia at IDR 1,699,000 (approx. Rs. 8,600).
Going by the teaser previous teasers by Infinix, the forthcoming Hot 9 Pro will have a waterdrop notch on the display. The notch will house a selfie camera. Further, it is also confirmed that the Pro variant will pack upgraded specifications as compared to the Infinix Hot 9.
Infinix Hot 9 Pro will have a 6.6-inch display, 4GB RAM, 64GB native storage, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a quad rear camera setup. On the software front, it will run Android 10 OS.
Infinix Hot 9 Specifications
The Infinix Hot 9 packs a MediaTek Helio A25 SoC and it is paired with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. There is also a microSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 256GB via microSD card. The phone has a 6.6-inch punch-hole display with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels
On the rear, there is a quad-cam setup at the rear that includes a 16-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and an AI lens. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel shooter inside the punch hole.
The handset runs on Android 10-based XOS 6.0. The device gets juice from a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, support for face unlock, DTS Audio Technology, AR Stickers, and more.
