Infinix has introduced several affordable smartphones in India this year. Now, the brand is ready to announce another phone in the coming weeks. An unannounced Infinix Hot 10 Play has cleared its BIS certification which suggests an imminent launch in India. The phone will be the successor to the Infinix Hot 9 Play smartphone.
The BIS website database now shows the Infinix model number X688C, which belongs to the Infinix Hot 10 Play. The phone had earlier bagged its certification from FCC with the same model number. This reaffirms Infinix Hot 10 Play’s launch soon. However, the launch date for the device is yet to be announced by the Hong Kong-based smartphone maker.

Unfortunately, the BIS certification doesn’t confirm any specifications of this smartphone. As for the specifications, the device is tipped to pack 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The smartphone is likely to feature a dual-camera setup and also a fingerprint sensor.
The FCC listing also includes a sketch of its rear panel that shows a phone featuring a rectangular camera bump at the top left corner, a squircle capacitive fingerprint sensor, and vertically aligned ‘Infinix’ branding.
To recall, the Infinix Hot 9 Play was launched with a 6.82″ HD+ cinematic display. It has MediaTek Helio A25 under the hood with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of storage. It comes with a 13MP dual-camera setup with Triple-LED flash and on the front, you get an 8MP selfie camera. All these are backed by a massive 6,000mAh battery. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11, a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio and micro USB 2.0. It boots Android 9.0 Pie (Go edition) out of the box.
