Just a day before we reported about the Huawei’s new smartphone Y9(2019) is listed on Amazon India as coming soon. And today the company is all set to bring the device to India at a launch event on January 7.nd the new smartphone will go up sale exclusively on the Amazon India.
As said the company has sent out media invites for the launch event, which is scheduled to take place in New Delhi at 11:00 AM IST. The pricing and its availability will be announced in the event itself. For a while now the Amazon is teasing about the Huawei Y9(2019) and registrations for notification on where one can get an email from the site when the phone will available to buy.
The smartphone will available in three colour options namely: Midnight Black, Blue Swarovski and Aurora Purple colours. The key selling points of the new device are its sports quad camera two fr selfie shooter and rest for the rear camera. The phone is back a fingerprint sensor with a gradient finished rear panel.
Specifications and features:
Speaking about specifications, the device flaunts a 6.5-inch Full HD+2.5D curved glass display with 2340 × 1080 pixels resolution with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9 and company claims it comes with a 91 per cent screen-to-body ratio. At the heart, The device is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU paired with a two memory combination respectively like 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. For memory expansion, It has an expandable option up to 400GB with microSD.The phone is preloaded by an Android 8.1 (Oreo) with EMUI 8.2 and is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery.
For photos, As said the phone sports four cameras where it has a two rear cameras with a combination of a 13-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. As usual the rear setup supports LED flash, HDR, and PDAF. For selfies,There is dual camera set up at the front, with a 16-megapixel main sensor with f/1.0 aperture and another 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Both rear and front camera setups are claimed to come with some AI-based features.
In terms of connectivity, the phone includes Bluetooth, Micro USB, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hot Spot, and GPS / AGPS / Glonass.
For pricing, This smartphone base model with 4GB RAM is priced at RMB 1,499 (around Rs 15,300) in China while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at RMB 1,999 (around Rs 20,400).
