Huawei has silently launched Y series phone which is named as Huawei Y6 (2019). The pricing and availability of Huawei Y6 (2019), however, has not been announced yet. The color options available for the Huawei Y6 (2019) are Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, Amber Brown. The highlighting features of the Huawei Y6 (2019) include Dewdrop notch display with TÜV Rheinland certification, Helio A22 SoC, and Android 9 Pie. To recall, the company had launched the Huawei Y6 Pro (2019) last month.

The Huawei Y6 (2019) sports a large 6.09-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. The screen further comes with dewdrop notch and 87% screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, the Huawei Y6 (2019) gets powered by 12nm MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 quad-core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Moreover, the smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).
For photography, the handset gets a single 13MP rear camera with a wide f/1.8 aperture lens camera at the rear. The selfie unit consists of a single 8MP selfie camera with Selfie Toning Flash 2.0.
On the software front, the handset runs Huawei’s custom EMUI 9.0 based on the Android 9.0 Pie. Backing up all of this is a 3,020mAh battery.
Sensors included are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Lastly, the connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, FM radio, and 4G VoLTE are present on board.

The company is yet to announce the price and availability of the Huawei Y9 (2019) smartphone in other regions, we expect it to land soon in the Indian market. The phone will be sold in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, Amber Brown color options.
